Attract, retain and thank volunteers.

Tempo Time Credits are a simple and innovative tool that allows you to attract, retain, and thank volunteers, increase engagement in services, and maximize community participation.

How does it work?

Give time

Volunteers, community members and service users give their time to your organisation

Earning Tempo Time Credits

You offer them Time Credits as a thank you

Spending Tempo Time Credits

They spend them on activities with our national network of partners, can treat others, or enjoy group social activities

The benefits of joining Tempo

Attract and retain volunteers

Tempo Time Credits help you to reach and engage people who have never previously volunteered. This widens your pool of volunteers and helps you to recruit volunteers for one-off occasions, unsociable hours or to deliver events or projects. 49% of organisations surveyed said they were able to recruit more volunteers using Time Credits, and 58% were more able to retain volunteers.

Thank and reward your volunteers

With Tempo Time Credits, 83% of organisations say their volunteers feel more valued. Say thank you with Tempo Time Credits and give your volunteers and service users access to our national spend network of positive activities. They can try new things, treat others, and enjoy social events with others.

Increase engagement in services

We’re offering an innovative way to encourage service users to participate and help shape service design. You can use Tempo Time Credits to maximise community participation and meet your objectives cost-effectively. As a result of using Tempo Time Credits, 54% of partners say service users are now giving their time to improve or help deliver services.

Improve health & wellbeing of volunteers and service users

Add to your social impact when your volunteers and service users experience the dual benefits of earning and spending Tempo Time Credits. They will have opportunities to meet people, make friends, learn new skills, improve their confidence and visit new places. 83% of members surveyed said they had improved their quality of life through Time Credits.

We’ll create a package to suit your needs and budget
This is helping to change the demographic of people involved in designing and delivering services. In turn, people are making new connections and building strong relationships that contribute to a sense of togetherness and greater wellbeing
