Delwyn’s Experience at The Venture

Having discovered Time Credits at one of Tempo’s networking events, Delwyn is keen to encourage more volunteers at The Venture to take part.

Delwyn, a retired builder at 65, is enjoying being a regular volunteer through local organisation, The Venture.

One of Europe’s flagship Integrated Children’s Centres (ICC), The Venture is a valued charity in Wrexham, providing an education programme and opportunities for play in the community.

Having undergone major back surgery, Delwyn is recovering well and using his time to volunteer within his community supporting various local projects, including looking after the primary school’s treasured pet rabbit!

He was introduced to Time Credits after attending a North Wales network event hosted by Tempo and immediately found them an interesting concept and hopes that more members of The Venture will start earning.

Delwyn certainly isn’t lacking for family to share his Time Credits with; running around after his 7 grandchildren helps keep him on his toes, and he’s already enjoyed taking his grandson swimming and bowling in Wrexham.

“Time Credits are something I can share with my family, and I’ve been encouraging more people to earn as I think they’re such a great thing to have.”
